This is a painting I started Friday night and finished today. I can't remember what inspired this specifically, but I guess I wanted to do something new and a little inspirational.
I hadn't drawn an underwater scene in a long time... not for a couple of years I think! o_O It was pretty fun and the water came out much better than I expected.
And yes, the treasure chest is smaller than you'd usually see, but I wanted it to be reasonably sized so it isn't taking up so much of the picture. =P Also, Tem isn't wearing his usual clothing. He ended up with having some sort of swim shorts instead of a usual tunic bottom. x)

But with this current piece, I think you've done really well ^^
Also, you seem to be very good with textures, for example the wave in the previous link, and the smokey fire and embers, and to some extent, the fur on the neck, here http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4285340/

This is definitely more dynamic than I'm used to seeing...I approve o3o
I guess the swim shorts activate when Tem gets in water, so it makes perfect sense now. It's a built feature in all tunics x3

Very cool, you could have tried some light rays being made from tem's shadow, the lighting however is very nice with some subtle blue highlights.
lol you can see some rough outline on your left hand (the hand not reaching for the chest). The way the background fades into the blue in the distance is also very cool. Im nto entirely sure about his legs in terms of perspective, but they work so whatever. Still a very good piece :D
