Team Incarnates: The Golem's Last Judgment (3/4)
Christopher Keynes, the Gargoyle Incarnate VERSUS Matthew Levinski, the Golem Incarnate
Continued from Justice Shall Prevail, the Golem (no longer Matt) stabs him with the knife...the knife passed from his family and forged from thirty pieces of silver. Holding his former friend by the gargoyle horn, he proclaims his final judgment at Topher about how the Incarnates have been granted power and invincibility more than their unique bodies: "By accepting them and persevering, we can become beings FAR more powerful than humans."
However, refusing to submit to this level of supremacy, he argues: "The moment we throw away our humanity...we become no better than wild beasts. No one will ever call you by your name anymore, Matt." It indicates that people will never gain respect as he ensues fear and death among innocent human beings with imbalanced justice. They would just call him "monster!"
And you can see their eyes: Topher keeps his humanity stable by balancing with the inner Gargoyle with friendship, understanding and peace; thus, he displays the eyes of the human under the body of the Gargoyle. Matt, on the other hand, lost his humanity, resulting his crystalline eyes that only sees people as his target to pass the "true justice" in wrong way.
