An art trade with Styxums and my best color scheme, EVAR! Okay, so interestingly enough this was done with only five color ballpoints and a pastel color gel pen(only on the sides of her cornea as stippling). One thing that I would recommend paying special attention to is the shaded areas- What you're seeing there is a dark blue ballpoint with a bluish green ballpoint intermeshed. Her blush points are pure pink pen and there is actually no true blending of the colors- It's literally just an optical illusion created between the white paper showing through and being overlapped by pink and light blue ballpoint(Yes, I'm really that proud of this one *^0^*). To create the actual line work I sketched everything in pencil then erased a little at a time and replaced with ink. If you look closely you'll also see that there's actually no black ink used in this entire image,something that I can almost never bring myself to do because black is the only thing that truly strikes my eyes as 'solid'.
