A little concrete slab set along some rocks next to a pier in Aix-les-Bains. There's a spot in the middle of it where there was definitely a little metal rod, so maybe the slab was used to hold a flag pole or maybe a lamp? I don't really have any better guesses. Either way it made for a comfortable little seat I used for a few minutes to watch some ducks swim by and see tons of boats cruising around.
