Since comic class started again this September, I've been thinking about properly picking up the comic project again. But instead of making a new one, the teacher convinced me to continue with what I started on last year, and work on the Dalehan and Rumbottom comic I want to make.
But I felt the page from last year didn't do it any justice, the designs for the three guardsmen were lacking, with inappropiate clothing that doesn't really blend with the idea I had for the more medieval setting I had in mind.

So yeah, a work in progress where I'm reworking the majority of the clothing on these characters, most notably the hats which were the most unimaginative ones I've ever drawn. That's not to say a classic plate helm is more imaginative, but it's better than a sealed off tube on your head.

Anyway, the Cintiq has made this SO much easier to redraw, I don't even need to use sketchlines for those helmets. :D I'm also touching up the lineart and faces in several image, mostly on the bearded guards who is juuust sooooo sloppy!
