Hapria was part of a species known as Para-Gators, as well as the twin species, Para-Crocs. These specimens are found in the same general regions/areas where crocodiles and alligators can normally be found. The species can swim as efficiently as crocs/gators can, due to the webbing between their toes. They're also very good at a croc/gator style ambush from the water if they want to, but often don't need to.
A worthy note, they can eat both plants and meat, and they're not particularly picky on which one.
The species' can make normal Parasaur sounds, as well as croc/gator hisses and growls. They are as docile as a normal Parasaur unless provoked, to which they can get very aggressive. Both species have a unique tooth layout, with one flat, herbivorous tooth in front of a carnivorous sharp tooth, and this pattern repeats along their entire maw.
The plates and spikes on their back and upper tail are rough and scaley as one may expect, and act as a sort of natural armor. Only certain types of bullets are able to penetrate them. The species' both also greatly enjoy being in water, but can survive on land alone perfectly fine. Their lung capacity underwater is incredible, with some specimens observed to be able to hold their breath for up to 25 minutes if they needed.
Soooo....I've had this new species in my head for literal months now, and finally have been able to bring them into the light, starting with my first OC of it, Hapria. She's a very friendly Para-Gator, often not minding other animals or humans as long as they didn't try provoking or attacking her.
Bonus butt shot, XD
