I don't have many certain ideas about that, but, as the all what I was having when developing her design; I guess, rather, folks may stare at her with curious eyes because she is a bit "unique" from normal people. How it works strictly will be fully up to you, depend on how you flesh her background. I think she would not be considered an abomination or social outcast unless she has "played" too much with unholy Talyxian forest creatures.
