I don't get why some people are afraid of death. No matter what anyone convinces themselves to believe, death is inevitable. Simple as that. No use being scared of what happens after death when you can't avoid it. Better to just accept that whatever happens will happen, and there is no changing that and just to go on with your life.

Anyways, good poem.

It's the oldest fear of the unknown humanity has... the great mystery, it shares the place as the oldest obsession of humanity right next to sex.

It is a good poem, I wish I had written it... but I have written many good poems myself.

Overall I think I agree. I don't know if you're into metal music, but Sentenced's Bitterness and Joy really sums it all up from my view. In fact, when I'm feeling morbid I think I'd like it to be played at my funeral.

Death is one of the main characters in it and he portrays her very well...

No I didn't... but in 'All That Jazz' (a movie out about ten years ago) death is a she also.

What few know is that Anubis has a female aspect who is called Anput... the oldest egyptian god's always have a male and female aspect and he is certainly one of the oldest of the old.

I like the theme here, though I can't exactly say I follow the words too well.

Sometimes I do this same thing. I think up a dialogue concept to type up, and even if the nature of the concept seems very negative and confrontational, the truth behind the concept is more often than not that I simply just believed that the concept would fit perfectly in between the kinds of situations that a whole lot of unspoken tensions built up to (or other kinds of emotions that have built up to something LESS negatively implying).

It's nice to concieve of an artistic idea that isn't exactly born from YOUR current feelings so much as it is born from your knowledge of just what such an idea would entail.

Basically, it's nice to write about stuff that you know about, whatever its nature or form. XD

Also, I realize that you didn't write it, but it's still nice.

Who is to say that these flesh and blood bodies are our true selves... maybe our true natures only come into fruition after death. Most of us love and embrace birth, why not death as well... are they really all the different...
