Hyra hails from the city of Grimseyda in north Mostadia, where she lives above a small potions shop that she runs. She sources her ingredients from the nearby forests and typically focuses on flora and fauna... but absolutely not fungi. Hyra does not seek to gain higher power with her magic, nor does she care to learn of the arcane magic in the world.

The witch dreams of expanding her potions business to the capital of Mostadia and selling to the wider world. However, the rumblings of trouble in the southern country of Yumiro once again sparks her wanderlust, and she fears that she will never get to see the fabled mountains of the elves. The thought occupies her mind most days, and she knows that one day she will not be able to focus on anything but until she feels the rumbles of the arcane underfoot.
