The fourth member of Shadows group: Maya, queen of water.

Much like Shadow and Victor, Maya takes on any assassination contract. Having done this for several years, even in her own time period, she takes great pride in the thing she does. Especially since she is really good in capturing her target alive. Witch is not surprising considering her ability: Turning completely into water. Like Victor can turn into fire. This also makes invulnerable to any water and physical attacks, but extremely weak to ice. You know, because ice is solid water.
Ever since Maya joined Shadow, she developed a one-sided rivalry with Victor. Victor isn’t bothered by her attitude, since she uses him to compare her own skills. So in a way she respects him. More recently Maya got into art & drawing, to kill some time. She would have preferred to get into videogames, like Victor, but since she can’t use any controller (damn her hands) it wasn’t an option. But holding a pen was possible, sooo ….

In her own time-period Maya was a member of a secret clan, dedicated to protect her land and kingdom. With her talent and wits exceeding that of her members, she was chosen to inherit the power of her clans deity: A water primary. The ritual was successful, changing the marks on her belly to indicate the destructive power she now holds. But it also changed her attitude towards the clan. She was more dismissive of her teammates, more self-centered, prideful, she mocked others for their lack of talent, even the leaders. They eventually found out that the Primary fused with the Manaphys soul, essentially resurrecting herself. Once she was confronted about it, Maya swiftly killed all of them and did what it has done previously: rampaging over the seas again. Luckily a few talented individuals managed to imprison her in an icy prison. Hiding it deep deep underground. Never to be seen again.
Until Scarlet found out about it and informed Shadow.
