So drawing Furries is ridiculously hard for me, in fact Trevor is the ONLY furry I can really draw, or at least feel comfortable doing so and that's only because I draw him so often. But then I realized.... I don't have to draw the typical furry style to be a Furry, which is what I felt I had to do and stressed over... But I can... I can just draw naturally.
So this is Trevor, in the more natural style I do, it's actually pretty much how I imagine him in my dreams.
In my Dream world he helps Mazyar out and gifts food from the village in exchange for good dreams for his sister who has been in a comatose state due to an accident while evading a Shrike (the Bird). His parents have tried every medicine, but it appears she's trapped in her own nightmares, and with every nightmare worse, but with every good dream she seems to get noticeably better bit by bit. The nightmares become too strong though, so Trevor puts all his faith in the power of good dreams so much so he ends up going INTO her dreams to help her escape the coma altogether. It's in her dreams he can do anything, like shapeshift, which comes in mighty handy in his epic journey through her personal land of Dreams. The Shrike (the Bird) however, is so real because it was that bird that had to do with the accident that put her in a coma. It's like he haunts her, and in lew, haunts Trevor, trying to kill him every step of the way. It's shape shifts and it grows ever more powerful and terrifying like the rest of the dream world as the nightmares gets progressively worse. It's really sweet, bc part of the dream he figures out HE can't save her bc he's not a "hero" so throughout the journey he's shapeshifting to become a "hero" whatever that may clumsily imply but when it comes time to really save her, he spiritually transforms into the "hero" he realizes it's just... him... as he is... The whole time he thought his sister wanted a courageous knight in shining armor, but she viewed him as the hero the whole time. It was just adorable and wholesome and I'm very fond of it and look back at it a lot sometimes in sweet epilogues.
;w; bwaaaa It's late and I'm rambling about my dreams, I'll go to bed!

That's really fun! Dreams can go in so many different directions, and they can be so fun and adventurous. I love them a lot.
And it's fun to see me in a style that you feel comfortable with! Make it work for you. I do enjoy seeing your work, and it's great to see a style that you're happy and comfortable drawing in!

Thank you! This is definately one of my favorite "dream series" I got up in the noggin. I love drawing your mouse, it just comes so easily for me! Will continue to draw Trevor in every way, but when it comes to Furries other than our fursonas, I think it's safe to just accept I draw furries as toons and not fight it so hard. I was wrong in the first place to assume everyone "wanted" the "anthro" way. You'd think being able to draw humans/humanoids would translate well to anthro, but somehow I've never been able to bridge that gap as hard as I've tried. Or maybe I do draw it well and in my head it's just super awkward looking. Eitherway, bc I can't tell if it's good I'd rather not risk it.
I just hope ppl don't get the wrong idea now, bc I will continue to draw your mouse in any style. It's literally just anyone else's furries. Lol pfft they'll have to get over it.
