(An explaination of the gun seen in: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/47502215/ )
One of the things I've noticed in Steampunk is the use of flintlock pistols. The thing is, by the time the "steampunk" era begain (mid 1800's) the flintlock (and its percussion-cap sucessor) were for the most part, outdated, and by Widget's (the mouse) "time" (around 1890's-turn of the century-ish) they're completely obsolete. (Except perhaps for gentlemanly duels.)
That having been said, here is an antique "black powder" pistol that has been "upgraded" with parts from a Mauser.
.....Or should I say, "Mouser?"
