And of course I forgot to post it here....
For this year's mermay I had a survey on my BR support page where people would suggest traits for a mermaid. The considerable majority asked for a black fat mermaid with curly hair. I'm proud of my audience.
Also, aren't there mermaids on the species category? Tritons? Sirens? Please someone tell me if I'm not looking correctly, because this is weird.

About the mermaid species listing: Yeah, it's odd. I've always felt like mermaids/sirens get short-changed in the furry community. The demi-human thing seems to work against them, even though the mythical creatures list of species includes centaur and satyr and naga AND lamia [and naga and lamia are the same thing, essentially - although what a lamia actually is is a whole other can of worms]
Anyway! This is a lovely mermaid and I'm also glad your audience went with something other than basically Ariel. :P
