I lost my two oldest dalmatians (Throttle Wingnut & Ahrens Fox Boy) this year. They were litter mates and they were literally part of my life from day one.
Well needles to say after almost 16 years together it has been difficult, so I decided to commission the very talented Susan Vancamp to draw a simple sketch of them. Well besides not being able to talk when I received the picture from her I must say that I love it.
Here's a picture of Throttle

And one of Ahren

*taildroops* I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Thankyou so much for sharing pictures of Throttle & Ahren. They are both beautiful creatures and I am sure they where very loving and wonderful packmates for you. It is a true privilege be able to share our lives with such noble and loving beings. The art piece you had done is very touching. All dogs go to heaven after they put in their time on our earth, helping us find our way. Mother Laika I am sure welcomed your two angels as she does all her children into the stars.
4 years ago, I lost Kyro just before her first birthday:
