Iron Artist #39: Carcarak
hallan wanted his dire wolf Carcarak displaying the toughness of his claws. I'm not entirely sure if Hallan wanted him to look as feral as he does here, but given the backstory, he sure SOUNDS pretty darn ferocious! If nothing else, I at least really like the way the sparks turned out.

Murrrrrr... *shivers in both pleasure and fear* The ferality of weres...especially wolves, especially DIRE wolves! I'd say it looks pretty damn awesome regardless of whether he normally looks that way. Cool glowing eyes. And I don't think I've ever seen you draw digitigrade before, unless I blinked and missed it--nice!
Perfect, Vince. :) Absolutely perfect. If anything, you could make him look even -more- feral, and I wouldn't mind a bit.
For those people wondering what he is: Carcarak is not a lycanthrope. He's a Samoyed anthro who became the personal project of his story universe's diety of slaughter and death, and the first thing said diety did was reshape him into a dire wolf and start using him as a test subject for murderous enchantments. (His golden eyes, for instance: all he has to do is look at something to immediately divine the weakest points to attack, whether that be people, armor, vehicles, buildings... in rare cases, entire -cities-...) And now he's loose on the mortal plane...
