Now I know I haven't read The Impostor stuff yet, but I saw a lot of criticism of "why Ashfur?" - to me, I think it made perfect sense. Ashfur was extremely displeased about multiple instances of the code being broken, the biggest one coming to mind being Brambleclaw becoming deputy without having mentored an apprentice. And Leafpool's convenient dream from Starclan? The Firestar line is corrupting the forest! At least in his mind.

Incel terrorism is very real and dangerous in real life - seeing it play out in fantasy is like, whew!
