Arrangement: Sister Suffragette (Mary Poppins)
A simplified take on a song I haven't been able to get out of my head for days now, "Sister Suffragette" from the 1964 Disney film Mary Poppins, loosely based on the book of the same name by the late P.L. Travers. (And yes, I have read the book.) I had trouble selecting an instrument for the melody, so I settled for a combination of instruments.
This is for:
Tenor saxophone
Baritone saxophone
Glockenspiel
Vibraphone
Piano
The saxophones and glockenspiel have the melody. The vibraphone has its own countermelody, and the piano is its own accompaniment.
