"We are controlling transmission. If we wish to make it louder, we will bring up the volume. If we wish to make it softer, we will tune it to a whisper. We will control the horizontal. We will control the vertical. We can roll the image, make it flutter. We can change the focus to a soft blur, or sharpen it to crystal clarity."
War Games

The other one was Colossus, The Forbin project
Forbin is the designer of an incredibly sophisticated computer that will run all of America's nuclear defenses. Shortly after being turned on, it detects the existence of Guardian, the Soviet counterpart, previously unknown to US Planners. Both computers insist that they be linked, and after taking safeguards to preserve confidential material, each side agrees to allow it. As soon as the link is established the two become a new Super computer and threaten the world with the immediate launch of nuclear weapons if they are detached. Colossus begins to give its plans for the management of the world under its guidance. Forbin and the other scientists form a technological resistance to Colossus which must operate underground.

That really is a great movie, co-incidentally I'm currently reading 'Fail-Safe' also about potential Global Thermonuclear War, there was a really well done version with George Clooney a while back, just two men in a room with a telephone but one of the most chilling things I've ever watched.
"Most interesting actions Jim."
"They were the most logical ones wouldn't you say Spock?"
"We may want Doctor McCoy's assessment before this is entered into Ship's log."
"Good point, where is Bones by the way?"
"He said something about playing an archaic video game called Space Invaders..."
*giggles herself silly...
I had a thought the other day on the UFO admissions by our governments; if the aliens are that advanced to have ships that can zip around as they do, why in the world would they come in person?
In this case, they sneakily sold a modification of a video game to an unknowing gamer.
In the end, his parents recorded him playing (since parents and children don't really communicate anymore) and the results were so funny they uploaded the clip to YouTube and made a ton of money. [another modern phenomenon]
The people of Planet X, viewing the results posted, had a total laugh fest over how stupid we are.
