A comic strip I commissioned  Friar to illustrate of his characters Friar and Berry on a trip to the town where my characters Friendly and Timothy live.

After several attempts to get through the two rollers, Ariel decides to climb over them instead. However the free-spinning rollers suddenly have the poor little lion running on the spot helplessly as his attempts to get over make the bottom roller spin. Friendly manages to steady him, and gives him a helpful push to the other side. Ariel then watches as Friendly and Berry go through as easy as pie - awestruck and envious after he had such a hard time with it. Friendly reassures him that everyone struggles with something. Timothy comes back and this is proved to be true as the chubby little raccoon struggles with the plush vinyl stairs, Ariel having a little difficulty too. Berry is next as a set of monkey bars trips him up, though Ariel had no trouble at all with them.
After this the friends are getting hungry so they fetch their shoes, Ariel feeling embarrassed as he needs Berry to tie them for him. Timothy has laceless shoes, much to Ariel's envy. The little raccoon needs help with his shorts' laces though, after inadvertently revealing his racecar pull-ups to his new friends. Friendly ties them, though he can only tie them if he's behind Timothy.

Time to get some well deserved Pizza for all of them ^_^
