Charlie's nightclub/casino always seemed like a really swanky high class joint, so I thought it would be pretty cute if there were a raccoon being the bandleader in All Dogs Go to Heaven.
So, here I am auditioning for him as the drummer for the house band! Charlie's just leaning back in his chair enjoying my soloing! Always felt Charlie would be the one to appreciate some good, swingin' jazz, since the story takes place in New Orleans.

Charlie: "You got the job, kid!"
Me: "I won't let you down, boss. It's about to get hot in this joint tonight!"
