The Nanolox is one of a handful of pachyderm species native to the continent of Elysium. These tiny elephants inhabit only the densest of forests where they can hide from larger predators.
Nanolox are fairly timid, but curious creatures. As long as they don't perceive something or someone as a threat, they will become rather inquisitive and investigate the new element with their dexterous trunk.

This species is known for its high level of intelligence. So much so that... it can become aware of having its freedom limited. In that regard, a Nanolox would make just as good of a pet as a normal Earth elephant (a.k.a not a good pet).
Curiously, their intelligence serves as a defense mechanism against a very specific kind of predator: True Dragons. Scholars are yet to determine the exact reason why, but more often than not, True Dragons will refuse to consume creatures that are "intelligent enough" in their eyes. Hence, the Nanolox belong to the small asortment of creatures that these apex predators will outright refuse to eat.
