This has been in the back of my head for a while. I guess a lot of Walther's story hinged on the right Thursday Prompt to come out. I have ideas of how things turn out much, much later, but what will happen in the near future is up in the air. Taking advantage of someone when their guard is down can lead to complications.

I have to admit I borrowed a sneaky tail hypnosis idea from someone else's former prompt contribution! And the usefulness of Walther's tail has been illustrated before (though that picture is set much, much later than this story is--the story follows immediately the events in the prior submission.)
