Jazmine was such a good girl. I was almost 12 years old when I first got her back in 2009. As the years passed by, she would just lie around inside or outside the house from time to time. Unfortunately, somewhere in 2021, her health started to deteriorate. She has arthritis, so whenever she gets up, it's a bit of a struggle, and whenever she walks, she would just slip and fall. She would barely eat her food, too, showing some signs of scrawniness .That is, until Memorial Day, when all of a sudden, she couldn't walk anymore. Her hind legs were so weak, that she couldn't stand up, so we had to carry her outside in the night. The next day, which was yesterday, was when we made the final decision; to put her to sleep. Once we went to the vet, I said my final goodbyes to her before the doctors carried her away. When I came back home, I was already in tears.

It really hurts. It was bound to happen at some point. I will always miss the time when she sniffs the bags whenever we bring groceries, or how she will sometime ride around the car with us, wherever we go. Goodbye, Jazmine.
