this is a bit from Ebony's past where her markings are starting to appear, her normal horse teeth fall out and fangs replace them, and her eyes change from brown to red.
the horses in village she was growing up in are confused as to what is happening and rumors spread.

the adult horses forbid the foals to play with her and she is not allowed near them when they are at the nursery house for day care. she lives at the nursery hose because as a newborn she was abandoned and the adults figure her "curse" is why.
she is not completely alone, a colt her age is also an orphan and wants to stay her friend no matter how she looks.

the world this is set in is like a medieval fantasy with some Victorian touches in the more wealthy parts of the world
not all animals are anthro and you can find humans and humanoids like elves, orks, and so on.
