This is Echo, my Guarian. What is a Guarian exactly? Well, they're rather hard to quantify! But you can find some info about them here. All we can really say about them is what is evident from observation. Nothing is really quite conclusive about Guarians, much less Echo in particular. Their powers, their abilities, even whether they're physical entities or not.

What can be said about Echo is that she's endlessly curious, and has a soft, sweet, welcoming presence without saying a word, being able to calm the harshest of tempers with her mere presence. There's no real... indication she's female, either, but much like her bubbly personality, you can just sense it somehow when she's near.

Normally, Echo is silent, merely observing your actions from up close or afar. She'll be down to your size one moment and as big as a mountain the next and watching from a roof or hilltop, and not shy about it either! Her curiosity knows no further limit than her ever-changing form does, so if you happen to be doing or using anything interesting, she'll probably want to take part in it!

She's also known to have a fascination with language, hence her namesake. When she does speak, she'll sometimes do it telepathically like most Guarians... But other times, she'll just blurt out a word or a whole sentence, or mimic your voice and speech, echoing it exactly. This is physical speech we're talking about, so when doing so, she'll suddenly have a mouth. Her speaking abilities like this seem more... limited, more like she's experimenting. Her telepathy on the other hand is quite eloquent, so it seems as though she pulls the language from your own mind. But don't think that'll stop her from attempting a song at karaoke night!

Much like other Guarians, she reads the minds of her chosen companions with ease, understanding your emotions on a deep level. So if something is bothering you, she'll immediately understand it, and do her best to help! She's also highly protective of these companions, and will use her quills and shape-changing to protect them if need be. She's even been known to change herself into forms to help a companion out of a tough spot. However, she always seems to retain the same colors.
