I was concerned at first i’d see an actual spider but now that I see he doesn’t look like one I am relived since I do feel uncomfortable around spiders.

I am interested how webs would work for him though since my dad has spiders and tarantulas and so I know their butts or whatever the big parts are called is where their webs are made and come out. So for him how do the webs work since I did think I saw some webs in prior pages with him, is it like the Toby Maguire spiderman and he has a small opening on his wrist that the webs come out of ? And that makes me think on if he has something like spider sense or if he can use his webs to brings things to him.

The fifth panel of the first page shows webs going from Mathias's fingers to the alarm clock after he turns it off. That kind of indicates that it somehow comes out of his hands, although it doesn't show how specifically.

All I can think of is that kids shouldn't be forced to go to school if they're not getting anything out of it. ><
