Cooooobraaa!

Despite being a snake terrorist group, i did like a lot of their weapons, vehicles, and troops more than joe. Till the DIC version showed up. The Viper Troopers were my favorite with the alley vipers and crimson guard coming after them.

Actually bought the tabletop RPG, and made the following promise to my RP group: If I run this, don't expect Cobra to be the same incompetent fools you saw in the tv show, they will not be.

Because they're a far worthier challenge this way of course.

Also no plot armor for anyone, PC or NPC.

Thats cool, i wouldnt mind seeing 3rd person shooter where you choose between joes and Cobra with you starting off as grunt instead main character. Make your own character and build him up and choose which class of soldier to branch off into. Maybe some Cobra Viper Trooper variants never seen before. I often imagine te vipers being the marines of the cobra organization, where the regular blue cobra troopers being the main grunts.

In the RP the blue troopers are unsurprisingly, very much the bottom boys of the Cobra totem pole. With the Vipers being more specialist, and the Crimson Guard as the truly elite troops.


After all most of the Crimson Guard are busy being deep cover operatives all over the place.

Yeah i see that for them, then you have the other cobra soldier types that been spawned over the decades of gi joe.
