In an inset, Ember and Garble stand at the top of the volcano. Ember, holding her Dragon Lord Staff, looks shocked and a little scared. Meanwhile, Garble is cheering!
The Dragonlands are a barren wasteland that spreads far and wide. There are lots of mountains, volcanoes, ridges, canyons, and other rock formations. The sky is bright orange, like a bright sunset. The land is mostly reddish brown, making it feel kind of like Mars.

Caring and adorable, as a big sister should be! She's just having fun with her tiny friends the best way she knows how. They may be barely specks of dust to her, but they have feelings like her -- and that makes them precious to her.
The artist did a great job on Ember's expression. He did a pretty good job with Garble, too.
