Well, granted I am sure there are furs out there dumb enough to accuse other foxes of stealing their ideas. I am not one of them. I was being sarcastic, but not trying to do it in a mean way. As for WindScar's name.... I was so drunk that night I had to zoom in on the photo I took the next day to figure out who I had hung out with.
I'm not saying anybody stole my name or anything, I was just saying, that's pretty weird.
Scarwinds isn't the most original name in the world, and neither is Windscar.
And being a fox isn't the most original thing either, actually, I think foxes, wolves, and house cats make up at least 80% of the furry population...

I knew you weren't saying anyone stole your name. :) And as for being a fox, I chose foxes before I even knew furies existed in spite of my last name being Wolf, not that I would have stood out any more as a wolf. At 5'6" and 115lbs it would be silly of me to try and match up with such a powerful animal. I don't have that strong of a personality type either.
I don't know. I only knew furries existed 3 years ago when I started listening to 2-sense, and I joined about 2 months ago. I guess I was always kind of a fox sort with wanting those really cool den-like beds with thick curtains over it but settling with having my bed against a wall, being jumpy, hate loud noises, and I'm not exactly the skinniest thing ever but I don't really think anything physical matters.
Welcome welcome, and yeah, I don't think physical things really matter but I just look and feel a lot more foxlike I guess than wolflike. I took the approach where I learned about furries and rushed to join, then was terrified away by the sexual nature of it all. Took me about a year then someone who wasn't a fur but listened to 2 saw my art and pointed him out to me. I listened to him and got a better feel for what the fandom was about and I guess I've been one ever since.
Thank you. ^-^ Yeah, me too. I was terrified of being ridiculed for it all or being misunderstood and then prosecuted about things that aren't true, but I guess I grew up a little as well, and 2 makes very good points about growing some balls and ignoring them. XD

Aw x3. Well what's the next convention planned for you? I'm sure we'll meet up again at some point. Maybe some time we could meet up outside of a convention and plan a trip to visit the Francofurs. I know Taru wants to go to Montréal sometime, and I wouldn't mind going there myself. I've been brainstorming a big big meet called 'Canada meets US' where all of the Francofurs come to meet up with a bunch of US furs from all around New England. I'd love to try to make that happen some how =D.
Wow, awesome, keep me posted on that. I would love to come hang out with you guys again. As for my next con, debating either AC or Megaplex. I won't know till I see a doctor about my arm going numb to see if I will be able to make either of them. I live in Burlington Vermont so Montréal is only about two hours away from where I am. I bet I could bring along some other Vermont Furries, and I'd bring some home made beer.
