This is truly a heart warming image big buddy and you did a great job with this. The bright and vibrant colors are definately the greatest aspect of this I feel for they truly shine the warmth, kindness and mood of the image. The various tones of orange and the way his body seems to shine within the lighting is amazingly well done. Definately one of your finest images with lighting :)
I rather like the design of this character as well for he does hold a natural dragon body, but I like the small touches you gave to make it feel personal as well. The spike in the back of his neck is a neat touch and naturally the fat belly and limbs really give him that snuggable and gentle feel. The expressions are always a joy to look at as well and perfectly convey the emotions within this piece. To be honest this feels like a really impressive upgrade of your style, for it looks like something new from you, but still holds your key trademarks within your art.
