It took some bravery for Musaamik to fold her wings and land in the open amongst the strange foliage, but their sweet scent upon the breeze was an effective lure. Dipping her snout to the yellow flowers the like of which she had never seen before, the aalukris' long tongue darted out to lap the pollen from their pistils hungrily. Reassured, her wings flared outwards in pleasure at the pleasant taste. The sun warmed the dark membranes, a comforting heat as she stood amongst the flowers. It was...peaceful.
