My dear sweet awkward baby boy, if you want to get with a girl, if you want to f(quack!) her (makes sure she is of legal consenting age in your respective country and even then), it helps to be direct about your intentions and not be weird about it. I do not know what all you young people are doing these days, but online interactions definitely have gotten weirder: Facebook or hate stalking, ironically following someone, flinging words around as if there are no consequences for them…. or whatever you are doing… well hopefully it’s something we all can work on together. If she says no, take your rejection and move on, you only have a bruised ego and you had a learning experience. If she says yes she would like to be in a relationship with you, that’s great.
Don’t be afraid of either the No or the yes, I find yes to be terrifying too. Does that mean once a yes is acquired you have to stay in the committed relationship for the rest of your lives? No. People change and want different things, and that’s okay too. Don’t be afraid of failures, but don’t be afraid of successes, they are all learning and growing opportunities. Just don’t be a weirdo about it and follow your moral compass.
