I mean to post this last weekend.

For the USNA Class of 2025, it's the end of classes and it's time for the famous Herndon Monument Climb!

What is it? It's a tradition where the first-year Plebes must scale a monument to replace the "Dixie Cup" hat (which is already at the top) with an actual officer's cap! The monument is 21 feet tall, and to make it more difficult the previous students grease it in lard.

It's said that the Plebe who puts the officer's cap on at the top will become the first in their class to reach the rank of Admiral (although this has yet to happen). When the officer's cap IS placed on the top, the students are no longer called Plebes!

Cari and her friends have to climb the monument. This time, it's Aselyn Raxen who places the cap on at the top! They are no longer called Plebes! Their first year at the Naval Academy is DONE!

But they still got a long road to go down!
