MALAKAS Project - Masc "Xayder" A. Rade
If you wish to know about the MALAKAS Project, go to Timothy Soro's entry here for more info about the project.
Description:
Masc A. Rade came to live in Los Angeles, making a living in a newly gentrified neighborhood as Xayder the feline DJ whose face was covered by the customized helmet. Interestingly, nobody knew what his childhood was like, neither did they get to see his real face. Local fame was enough to earn a decent amount, but the increasing progress on the said neighborhood was causing his bills to rise up. Not that he cared much about though, he knew that would eventually come and had already preserved a vacant room for the next apartment in a poorer neighborhood just in case, but his childhood friend (and similarly named) Mas Lowerscald did not like that idea and suggested joining the MALAKAS Project, as several big guys roaming the city bragged about the monetary benefits from that project.
Xayder declined, insisting he would preferably live a normal and humble life. On the next night, as another skilled DJ himself, Mas instead started a local charity event that would end up raising enough money for Xayder to join the MALAKAS Project. The participants involved were also aware of the said project and were happily willing to pay on Xayder's behalf. A week later, Xayder was dismayed to learn what happened behind his back, as he was met by the bigger dragon in an army apparel. The bigger dragon in question, named Sekkaigan Brittenburg, confirmed everything Xayder heard from Mas. With his clothes also already prepared by Mas, Xayder was left with no choice but to ride on Sekkaigan's jeep into the mountain base, just many miles away from Los Angeles.
As he learned what he was supposed to do in the mountain base, i.e. physical training, he was chill with it, as he was fine doing that back in high school. Numerous times he had been asked or even demanded to remove his mask, but he proved to be such a competent martial artists, that his trainer Diego Dagdag paid him in genuine respect by protecting the masked feline from those daring to unmask him by force. However, in order to dissuade the said people to do so more, he decided to share his interest he loved the most, hosting a music festival with himself on a DJ booth. So far, he was able to organize six music festivals in span of three months, only with approval from the mountain base's supervisor Christopher North and the main instructor Timothy Soro. The sixth and the last music festival had taken place on the Christmas Day, though he ended at midnight as he wanted to spend his last hours with his new friends he made in his time. The next day was his honorable discharge and his departure back to Los Angeles.
So far, Xayder's original plan to move into another apartment remained unchanged, but soon he realized that the neighborhood he began staying was so poor that it had been riddled with two violent gangs as the said neighborhood was sandwiched between two clashing gang terrorities. As much as he wanted to continue his DJ career without directly interfering, the risk of collateral damage from a gang war, as well as possible cost of lives during a music night, could no longer be ignored, as it happened once a week after Xayder's moving in, with several people in his party injured. As suggested by Mas, he turned to Sekkaigan for help, as well as few of his childhood friends who grew up to be cops, and pledged to take on those two gangs for several months to come, while Mas agreed to join the MALAKAS Project.
