I started this in 2017????? LOL OOPS.

Originally when I started this piece of my snake hound, Song, I was hoping to finish it within a few days of the original post. But, 2017 turned into an absolute hell and then my life descended into absolute chaos. Fast forward to 2022 and after the many moves, jobs, and other events I finally FOUND it.

So I decided to finish up my sweet boy and am in love with the end result! One of the more interesting points to note about this piece is the background. I used black bean water from a batch of dry beans I was soaking over night before cooking them in the crock pot. I actually really like how it dries and has kind of a grain to it even before adding salt. Will definitely try using it again~
