I'm assuming the one you based this character off is chii. As she is the only Actual chobot in the entire series, the rest are just persocoms. and her sister died and created "Black chii" o.o that sounds like some sort of magical field. anyways Black chii guides the neive one around and helps her out in both the manga and anime, rather cute actuly, Sumomo defently isnt your insperation point, and since its a girl it cant be hideki or shinbu. =P gotta be chii
