Its been a very, very long time since I did any artwork for myself. I wanted to make something that was beautiful and aethereal and feminine, but still represented something very serious in my life. I chose to do a navy gown because navy is the official ribbon color for Colon Cancer Awareness. I thought it was a beautiful and cathartic way to explore something I am going through in my life.

I hope you all like the piece. I think it turned out rather pretty in the end.
