Happy Halloween 2010
Yes I am late with my Halloween picture, but if FOX can show all their Halloween cartoons a week after Halloween every year then I can be a few days late. :P
This image has Sara dressed up as one of the women from Zenescope's Grimm Fairy Tales comic covers. If you know anything about Zenescope's covers, they are notorious for the Playboy-like cheesecake art, which are nothing like the artwork inside. In Sara's case, her outfit is from the Alice in Wonderland stories. She also dyed her hair (it isn't normally that color but brown).
What I like about this image is it came out by accident in almost perfect bookmark dimensions, so I think I will make this into a bookmark as well.

This is really a great tribute to those covers. Heh -- I have their issue that did Little Red Riding Hood. The framing story is about a woman trying to avoid being pressured into sex by her nasty boyfriend; as reflected by Little Red and the Big Bad (Were) wolf. Very well done and drawn.
The cover? A stripperiffic Red standing by Granny's bed and being leered at by a very fangy werewolf. I asked the guy selling it, "What does this have to do with the story?"
His response?
"Who cares!"

I only know of them because one of my friends collects the comics. I was humored that the inside art and story have nothing to do with how the covers are portrayed. Been curious why they decided to make the covers either sexy cheesecake or soft core porn and the story completely different.
