Once she was out of the pool, Skyla let her hair out of her cap, which she set on the pool deck with her goggles. She then dipped her feet in the chlorinated water to relax after her daily exercise. She was proud of how long she held her breath, beating her previous best by a substantial amount. With lungs like hers, there wasn’t a doubt she’d be very successful at the upcoming state swimming championship!
