Here is something random... Shadow Raiders/War Planets fan art. Does anyone even remember this show, let alone watched it? It was one of Mainframe's throwback series; where everyone remembers Beast Wars (o' hail the mighty Dinobot!) or the relatively hilarious Reboot (the first two seasons were good, mostly because Bob was still around and Enzo wasn't "Matrix). Unlike the other two, Shadow Raiders was too forboding and never seemed to go anywhere despite only being about 25 episodes. Generally I only like two types of characters in a series: 1. Anti-heroes, such as Mewtwo or 2. Characters with extreme sex appeal, such as Jewelia, from Shadow Raiders. Finally found my definition of redemption within the series.
The character is Jewelia, an absolutely psychotic, narcisstic control freak who enjoys manipulating people to the point where they will kill themselves for her. There is absolutely no reference or fanart of her. Kind of sad since I thought this design was not only amusing but a little challenging, thus worth taking a crack at. Had to do a lot of play, pause to get some decent shots. In any case, I did her poised on a pipe with the planets Beast (the big one), Ice, Lava and Rock in the background. And instead of being my lazy self, I actually did some worthwhile terrain, planets and general sci-fi stuff, to the point that I have to say I like the background more than the character. Guess it happens.
