Drawn as Part of my October Art challenge, Here's hornet from Hollow knight.
Had quite a bit of fun drawing this, figuring out how the exoskeleton works on bugs is a bit tricky but interesting to design, a good tip I found is to sort of imagine them like action figures or dolls. I decided to use a blue accent for the cracks/gaps in her exoskeleton, sort of referencing the lifeblood mechanic from the original game.
