Playing around on my new Mac.
Migration was a bit of a hassle here and there. Particularly, discovering that my Windows virtual console, which I only used for Paint Tool SAI was 70 GB in size for some unknown reason. That is to say, even by the quickest means I have, it still would have taken a solid day with nothing else taking up space to get it onto the new system. And once there, would continue to take up about a fourth of my hard drive for just my outdated version of my drawing program.
No. No, I reject that.
And thus I began looking for alternative ways to run SAI on Mac, which led me to a fairly new program by the name of Acorn. It doesn't run SAI on Mac. Because it's an actually GOOD paint tool for Mac itself. Yay. c:
No more of this GIMP or running a whole 'nother OS for one program nonsense for me!
This was just what I doodled while toying with it, getting acclimated to the new controls and all that. I do not know why.
No, it's not good at all, thank you for noticing. I drew, coloured, and shaded it in fifteen minutes. As it turns out, you get back what you put in with these things.
Also, I tried coloured outlines. Turn out, they're a pain to do. Not beeg zuprise.
Actual stuff to come fairly soon.

THAT'S JUST BECAUSE THEY'RE BOTH GREEN, I DIDN'T STEAL HIS CHARACTER. HIS NAME IS TOBY AND H- Nah, just kidding.
I realized after I drew it that there's another green cat lurking the web. This is just a throwaway, so he could totally claim it to be a cameo or someat. I wouldn't mind at all. Gives it a little more personality if he want's to snatch it up, anyway. :P

Indeed!
It was definitely time for an upgrade. My old MacBook served me well over these past two and a half years, but it just doesn't quite suit my needs anymore...
It's being passed down to my sister, who is going to college next year. May it serve her as well as it's served me. [/sentimentality.]
