The green birdy reminds me of how I've had the 'Pokemon: Sun & Moon', ROWLETT, described to me. (Pokemon Go has made it to Sun & Moon and I have a fully evolved owl ball.).

I also have a tendency to see your depiction of 'Avis Brightwing' when I hear of green-colored birdies. Avis has the birdy-balls to threaten those he wants to do something to do what he wants them to do. :)

Haha, OH! Hm maybe a good way to describe Duolingo's owl is kinda like the My Little Pony owl? Sorta thumb shaped with a round bottom, the the top is more flat, with sorta curves at each side where his brow-feather things are. Haha it's a bit hard to describe shapes sometimes without doing a whole paragraph! But he is a weird simple flash green blob with mostly just some colors to show his face, eyes, beak, and lil round parts for his wings and feet. I might need to edit a thing with them again soon too!

But yes, they're an interesting tutor that the internet liked to joke about since they send a lot of strict messages and reminders if you aren't doing your lessons! I just found out you can add folks so I did add one furry friend. It's a free phone app and I'm learning a bit of Japanese since I already know Spanish. You might be able to do two languages? One part of it is neat since you tap on things and hear the words! But I'm not sure if it's super blind-friendly. Then again, I wonder if learning a language without text and writing is easier if it's only the audio half! That's kind of like how we learn to talk growing up, hmm!

And hehe, Avis is a neat birdy! Maybe I should go back and doodle him sometime. I'm still in a birdy phase!

I'm sure the tragic burb would appreciate more love after everything he has been through. You actually remind me of the fragmented Creative Campaign 3 that I started to write on-and-off during 2013 and 2014. It was intended to provide a few more friends a chance to be in the story while, most importantly, giving poor Avis the 'Best Ending' he has deserved from the start. (Avis never set out to be a bad burb. He just got desperate to help his country, made some really bad choices, and had time to reconsider his actions with help from our pal, 'The Dingus Duck'.

I truly miss writing that series of stories. I definitely should finish it up more sooner than later. What helps is how [i]FRCC 3 uses a style of descriptive writing, much like the original story, but with far more spacing between key moments to allow for that 'Open World' feel.
