Here’s a nice snack mix that I made to celebrate the long weekend up here at my place. The best thing about my “Cabin Mix” is that my dad loves to take it with him up to our cabin cottage just outside of the town of Kingston, he also takes it to work and his friends love it too!
Here’s how I did it:
1-preheat oven to bake at 350f
2-mix 4 cups mixed cereals with 4 equal cups mixed nuts/dried fruits/other mixins
3-stir together in bowl large enough for your snack mix (don’t overcrowd your bowl!)
4-place mix onto a non-stick or parchment paper-lined baking sheet, then sprinkle favourite seasoning of choice (I used a mix of cinnamon and Buffalo wing spice for mine)
5-bake in oven for 20 minutes stirring every 10, then let cool for 1 hour before transferring back to bowl
6-Enjoy!
