"Honor among Thieves" is really a more romantic concept of "Omerta", the "Law of Silence" that regulated the Mafia.

And that was mostly due to fear of retribution then anything else: it didn't matter how light the sentence was, if you ended up getting shivved while on the Inside anyway.

I'm going to guess "Jack" is a suit of some kind and it is operated but the sheep lady whose investigating these crimes on her company. Sort of a street level "Iron-Man"

Ive missed a chapter or so when I first read it so I never see her entering or leaving it but from what I had read before, this seems to be so. Not as capable as Iron man, closer to the Landmate armor from Appleseed but still able to deal out serious hurt with relative invulnrability. I bet a fight with her and Hundrat would be a fair match...

It's kinda a weird concept. Usually an armor suit is like wearing a fighter plane like Iron Man or a tank like a Landmate. There really isn't much precedent for a street level crime fighter using a power suit that ONLY makes the wearer stronger and tougher. NO lasers, not big weapons. Just brute force enough to mangle a guy or tear a door off a car.

As presented it's a pretty original concept.

I forget exactly how Hundrat is. "Hound-Rat" or "Hundred", I think it's a reference to Hundrat's lineage and her(?) enormous strength and durability. Being a Savage Squirrel related character, I would not be surprised in Jack and Hundrat would be physically equal thorugh I doubt it.

Actually, the suit seems to have an awful lot of equipment for "utility" purposes. On-board computers and sensory equipment and gadgets of various sorts.

And sure, just about any good suit of powered armor is going to have that stuff; I'm just saying don't discount it. Look at some of the earlier pages in the comic, like where "jack" is breaking into that place using everything BUT "his" strength and toughness. :)

BTW the precedent for this type of suit, depending on when this comic was done, might have to be Batman Beyond, minus jump/flight systems. The suit was made for an older, less capable, Bruce Wayne and had all the gear built in. So strength, toughness, and special equipment and weapons, all check. Jack? I don't know yet.

I keep thinking I have some older issues of "Furrlough" or "Genus" that feature this story. I don't have many issues of "Savage Funnies" (quite vexing) which probably would.

I think it depends on the type of thief. A realistic look is probably something like shown here, but I like the romanticized look, like Sly Cooper. The sort of 'modern day Robin Hood' only stealing from the corrupt scum like the jerk shown here.

I forget if he is is supposed to be a robot, or a thug with a mask, or some kind of something-or-other.
