Ralph: "Oh my dear love!I'll take you always on the road of love.Have been sad moments and some problems between us,is true. But I know you're with me and I with you...I always love you...!"
Drive
Who's gonna tell you when,
It's too late,
Who's gonna tell you things,
Aren't so great.
You cant go on, thinkin',
Nothings' wrong, whoa ho...,
Who's gonna drive you home,
tonight.?
Who's gonna pick you up,
When You fall?
Who's gonna hang it up,
When you call?
Who's gonna pay attention,
To your dreams?
And who's gonna plug their ears,
When you scream?
You can't go on, thinkin'
Nothings wrong, whoa ho...,
(who's gonna drive you)
(who's gonna drive you)
Who's gonna drive you home, tonight?
(who's gonna drive you home)
Who's gonna hold you down,
When you shake?
Who's gonna come around,
When you break?
(Chorus)
Ho..., you know you can't go on, thinkin',
Nothin's wrong,
(Who's gonna drive you)
(Who's gonna drive you home)
Who's gonna drive you home, tonight?

Let me explan, there may have been a few instances in and out of the series where Ralph was the subject of comedy. But he was more of a supporting character and always remained more or less a streight forward character, with some hint of comedy, Bert Raccoon was usually more of the comedy relief, and still is despite his character maturing slightily as the series progressed. My point was that there wasen't that many Ralph themed episodes, so we won't know for certan 100% if he actually has a real adventurous persona like Bert does, though i guess it has been hinted that he does from time to time, but never let that get in the way of his responsibilities.
I have seen most of the episodes as a kid, but that was a long time ago. Since only the first two seasons have been released in English (to my knowledge anyway), those are the episodes I have seen most recently. It might very well be that in the seasons I haven't seen for so long we see more of the responsible Ralph similar as to what he was like in the beginning of the series, but from what I have seen on the two seasons I have Ralph loses some of that responsibility and seems to switch somewhat moral wise in later episodes.
I've seen all sixty episodes and I can assure you that Ralph is still responsible, the only real time that he let his emotions get the better of him was in the episode 'The Sky's he Limit' in Season 4, yet in that same season in 'Search and Rescue', it was ralph who first suggested a serch party to find Bert and Cedric when they were missing in that episode. I suggest you see the later episodes first before making asumptions. You can see some episodes on YouTube, or there are links in the newraccoons Yahoo group. Seasons 1 and 2 are currentilky avaliable on DVD in the UK, Canada had most of season 2 (omitting Stop The Clock) and the first 9 episodes of season 3 released, though the Canadian DVD's are now out of print.
That's a reason I always drew Ralph and Melissa. They are super great characters.Yeah.Always the writers don't write much about him.He always have a good mood and helping all his friends, specially Bert. But still he is one of the best characters created.Raccoons rules!!Thanks for your great comment my friend!*hug*
I remember that song!
I burnt out a pair of speakers, jamming to them! "BIC VENTURI" speakers sucked! I guess "Nikko" audio equipment did too! Neither one of them is around anymore!
Do you remember a cartoon called "Henry's Cat"? It's a cartoon about a tail-less cat.
Having two accounts is cool!

The Cars are from my part of the country (Boston; my college radio station had a teenage band down a few yrs back whose first EP was prod. by their Greg Hawkes). Maybe someone can do a youtube video with footage of the Raccoons (that is, something that wouldn't be taken down, grr) and the Cars' "Shake it Up" or something
I'm sure you already know how I feel about this couple...I won't say anything other than this is an adorable picture you've done here I didn't know Ralph could drive, though!
Used to have a local classic album-oriented rock station around where I live and they used to play the Cars quite often. They played like half the songs from their debut album on that station. Sadly, that station went away, to be replaced with an adult-contemporary station No offense to anyone who enjoys adult contemporary, and I admit I don't mind a nice ballad song every now and then, but I couldn't listen to a station filled with JUST that...
