Lately around where I work as a security guard, I have been seeing some of them in the sky as of late.
Just today I watched two of them, first one was over the mountain range due east of my location heading north against the wind, it looked like a cylinder shape and glinted in the sunlight as if it was rotating on its vertical axis.
The second one was a little further west of the first one and I watched it hold its position for roughly 3 minuted, then it veeery slowly started to drift towards the mountains where the first one, I watched that one move for 5 minuted till I lost track of it.
Also, theres a lot of air traffic from the San Jose airport as I watch outgoing and incoming jets in landing formations and much higher up, and also theres a private airport literally within spitting distance of my job, so theres a lot of comparisons of what it could be, but I am quite sure none of the objects I have seen were not planes, mylar balloons, birds or stars since they show up in broad daylight. Ive also found that polarized sunglasses really help cut out the glare and darken the blue sky, making the objects show up much better.
