In this particular drawing, the subject is worried because his pants might fall down. Other times, I might feel sad or worried myself, and I express it with a drawing.

I see. I think it's charming. We are used to seeing old-time cartoons always extravagantly happy and it's touching when they reflect the artist's own feelings of sadness.
