Here's Ace when he used to be a surfer, before he enlisted in the marines, so that would be quite a long time before the events of the post apocalyptic comic. Back then he would spend his time surfing the waves of California, sometimes visiting other spots with some friends. He lived in a small beach house and worked as a bartender. He didn't have much, but didn't need much anyway. Golden days to his eyes. ^^
