Cool, I also use ubuntu...
Could you tell me how you use photoshop on ubuntu?
Do you run it on Wine?

Yes. Elements 7 will run on Wine. Anything that doesn't need IE to work.

Yes, it appears so. I've accessed my Windows partition from Linux a few times since upgrading to the current distro. The .EXE files seem to run under Wine quite well, and "Maverick Meerkat" seems to be able to parse NTFS partitions as well.

Actually the widgets giving the computer diagnostics come with Ubuntu Linux as part of the distro.

really? hmm I'll have to look around for it. I've been playing around with 10.10 and I wish my hot-keys would work but, other then that it works great. What do you think about the 11.04 version of Ubuntu beta?

They seem to be using something that's more Mac-like for a lot of the things in it.
